"Hello, my name is Nolana, and I have an organization disorder. I haven’t been organized in my entire life, but I am taking baby steps to progress."

Yup! That is the way a Disorganized Anonymous meeting would go. I am one to buy the pretty organizers or folders or books. But I always seem to lose them.

Well... NO MORE!! I can stand it! A person shouldn’t have boxes they haven’t looked into for over 11 years. I’m not going to just throw things away. My goal is to look into every single box and find a home for it! Whether it is in my home or someone else’s.


So here is my official Challenge to myself.

Operation Cleanse My Home, Body and Mind
Ya, I like that. How do I plan on doing it? How many times have I "challenged" myself.... and failed? Well, on the second questions... MANY MANY MANY TIMES! On the first? Here is my list....

Home-

1. Pick 1 room at a time

a. Box it all up

b. Take it out of room (I have an enclosed porch)

c. CLEAN the room

d. Fix what needs to b fixed

e. Take 1-3 boxes a day and sit and sort

f. Every other day take “GET RID OF” out of house


Body-

1. Stay on track with Weight Watchers

2. Exercise 3 times a week

a. Walk dogs 1 mile

b. Park a long distance (if I have the time) and walk

c. Wii fit and games

d. Exercise bike ( stop using as clothes rack)

3. Cook more

a. Work on converting ALL the cookbooks into WW friendly or at least figure out points


Mind-

1. Keep going to school

a. Study!

2. Learn different stress reliever techniques

3. Read more books!

a. Start a book club?


For a beginning plan, that sounds pretty good. I am very happy to take ideas.
